Privacy Policy
Your trust is the whole point. This policy explains what information Truekin collects, why, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 8 June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Truekin ("Truekin", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with our website at truekin.co (the "Site"). It is written to be read by a person, not only a lawyer.
1. Scope
This policy covers the Truekin marketing Site. Each of our products (OrcaLinq and Kintity) operates its own service and publishes its own privacy notice covering the data processed within that product. Where a product's policy differs from this one, the product's policy governs that product.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us — for example through our contact form or by email — we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message. Our contact form composes an email from your own mail application; we do not run server-side form processing on this Site.
Information collected automatically
This Site is a static website served through our hosting and content-delivery provider. Standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) may be processed by that provider for security and reliability. We do not use advertising trackers on this Site.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This Site aims to function without non-essential cookies. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for the Site to operate or to remember basic preferences. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent.
5. Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted infrastructure providers (for hosting, content delivery, and email) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. They are permitted to use your information only as necessary to provide their services to us.
6. Data security
Security is a core design principle at Truekin. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. Several of our products are built on client-side encryption and zero-knowledge designs so that sensitive content is protected even from us. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work hard to minimise risk.
7. Data retention
We keep correspondence only as long as needed to address your request and to meet legal or accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@truekin.co. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
Our Site and products are not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. International users
Truekin is based in India. If you access the Site from elsewhere, your information may be processed in India and other countries where our providers operate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through a notice on the Site.
